Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy describes how Origin3D LLC (Origin3D, we, or us), based in Vancouver, Washington, handles personal information through this website and related communications. Contact us at contact@origin3d.io with privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, message, and other information you choose to provide. When you request a launch notification or subscribe to product news, we receive your email address and the type of update requested. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information through our forms.
Our hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error logs when serving and protecting the website.
How we use information
We use contact information to respond to inquiries and provide support. We use launch-notification requests to send the requested launch update, and newsletter subscriptions to send Origin3D news. Sending a support message does not subscribe you to marketing. Technical information supports site delivery, troubleshooting, security, and prevention of abuse. We may also use information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Providers and disclosures
We use providers for website hosting and email services to deliver form submissions to our inbox, send welcome emails, and manage subscribers and email preferences. Submitting a signup form adds your address to the requested list without an email-confirmation step. Newsletter and launch-notification requests are handled separately. These services process the information needed to perform those functions. We do not sell personal information or provide it to advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law or lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or investigate fraud or misuse. Information may also be transferred as part of a business acquisition or reorganization, subject to applicable law.
Browser storage and external content
This site may store cart state locally in your browser, including legacy cart data, even while checkout is unavailable. You can remove it using your browser's site-data controls. We also store your analytics preference locally for up to 180 days.
If you accept optional analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Google may process cookie identifiers, browser and device information, visited pages, approximate location, and referral information. Our analytics tag does not load unless you accept. We do not send contact messages, form field values, email addresses, or unsubscribe tokens to Analytics. We do not enable Google advertising personalization or Google signals.
You can decline analytics or change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Turning analytics off removes the Google Analytics cookies we can access and reloads the page to stop the tag. Previously collected information is not automatically deleted by changing this choice. See the Google Privacy Policy for information about Google's processing.
Product pages may embed YouTube videos using its privacy-enhanced player. Loading or interacting with embedded content can communicate technical information to the provider; privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no information is processed. See the Google Privacy Policy. Following a Kickstarter link takes you to a separate service subject to the Kickstarter Privacy Policy.
Retention, security, and processing locations
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including responding to requests, managing subscriptions, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and context. Opt-out records may be retained to avoid contacting you again. Deleted information may remain in provider backups until their normal deletion cycle.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate; privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to stop marketing messages, access or correct information you provided, or request deletion by emailing contact@origin3d.io or using our contact page. Identify the email address associated with your request. Do not send identity documents unless we separately arrange a secure method. We may need to verify a privacy request before acting on it.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, receive a portable copy, or complain to a privacy regulator. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions, including records we must retain. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.
