Three-Year Limited Hardware Warranty
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Origin3D LLC stands behind Orbit with a three-year limited hardware warranty. Coverage starts when the original customer receives the product, including an Orbit delivered as a Kickstarter reward. No product registration is required.
What is covered
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the Orbit controller and the knob, cable, and adapter supplied with it, when used normally according to the product instructions. Manufacturing defects in the finish are covered. Cosmetic wear from normal use is not a manufacturing defect.
Separately purchased accessories have the coverage stated on their product page or in their accompanying documentation.
How we resolve a covered issue
We will repair or replace defective hardware at no charge for covered parts and labor. If we cannot repair or replace it, we will refund the price paid.
Repairs and replacements remain covered for the rest of your original warranty.
What is excluded
This warranty does not cover ordinary wear, accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, or damage caused by improper power supplies or a repair or modification.
The hardware warranty does not promise continued compatibility with every third-party application or operating system. Software is subject to its own license and published release information.
